Sponsor a child - change a life forever.
You can break the cycle of poverty with an investment in a young girl’s future. Your support helps girls move forward towards a rewarding career and secure financial future.
What a sponsorship can do for a young girl?
Rani’s life…
…Without the support of TCU…
Rani is unable to continue her education after the age of 15
If she’s able to get a job at all, she works in the fields or small factories — earning just $3 a day
Girls in this situation are often prone to abuse and forced to marry at the age of 16 or 17
Rani and her family are unable to escape poverty and the cycle, unfortunately, repeats itself
…With the support of TCU…
Rani receives a scholarship and is able to pursue a college education
Rani graduates and becomes a nurse, doctor, or engineer and is able to earn between $250 - $600 a month
Rani is financially secure and safe, allowing her time to mature and gain career experiences
Her and her family are able to escape the cycle of poverty for generations to come
Why sponsor?
TCU works to fight against human trafficking, poverty, sexism, and exploitation of young girls in India. Many girls in India are put in vulnerable situations due to gender inequality, traditional taboos, domestic violence, and discouragement.
$365 dollars ($30/month) covers the tuition for a girl to receive a degree in a nursing and teaching to earn $250 dollars a month for life
$730 dollars ($61/month) covers tuition for a girl to study engineering or pharmacy to earn $500 dollars a month for life
How will your sponsorship donation be used?
